GOD IS BIGGER THAN YOUR DILEMMAS
Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
Jeremiah 32:27
Your situation is grim. You feel lost in the dead end of a dark maze. You ran out of options and solutions a long time ago. You are past the point of exhaustion. Despair hovers over you like a flock of hungry buzzards.
What you’d like is outright deliverance from your difficulty. But at this point you’d settle for less spectacular help—a fragment of wisdom, a speck of patience and strength, a small bit of peace. You need grace for one more day, the ability to endure without complaining. In short, you need the sustaining touch of God.
If that describes where you are, the divine promise above—with its bold rhetorical question—is the verse you want rolling around in your head, heart and soul. The obvious implication is that nothing is too difficult for God—not your external situation and not your internal confusion. Lost causes are God’s specialty.
GOD’S PROMISE TO ME:
• I am the sovereign, almighty God.
• Nothing is too hard for me.
MY PRAYER TO GOD:
Lord, when my faith is shaky, remind me of your power. Give me a fresh glimpse of who you really are. Nothing is impossible for you. Increase my faith. Supply the confidence I need to believe fully in this promise—especially when I am facing hopeless situations. Amen.
