FAITH is the VICTORY that Overcomes the World
1 John 5:4 - “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”
The theme we have chosen for all IBBC in 2024 is “Faith is the Victory.” Faith is the power that lies in the heart of every believer. It is the power and the presence of Christ that enables us to not only be saved and forgiven but also to obey and serve our Great God and Savior. The importance of faith cannot be overstated, for without it, we will never please God.
Faith provides us with the strength and courage to overcome our fears and to live a life that is pleasing to God. It gives us the confidence to trust in God's promises and to believe that He is with us always, guiding us along the way. In short, It is the foundation upon which our relationship with God is built, and it is the key to living a life that is truly fulfilling and meaningful.
The faith established in Christ will open doors of opportunities for all of His children to go through life without any fear and doubt. Challenges and afflictions will surely come, but our faith in Christ will give us the power to face and overcome every opposition we meet.
The much-awaited year 2024 has finally arrived, and we can look forward to more exciting things and new challenges. But with our faith in Jesus Christ, we can be confident of victory.

Our Prayer for today:
Our heavenly Father, the New Year just started, and we ask that you strengthen our faith as we journey through the valleys and mountains. Thank you for preparing us by providing us faith through Your Word. Always remind us not to depend on our strength but only Yours. With Your faith, may we serve you with greater commitment and faithfulness. In Jesus Name. Amen.
